Dear Mrs. Huffman,

My name is Melissa and I just moved here from Alaska. I am 12 years old. I was born in Sacramento California in 1987. I grew up in Alaska for 11 years. I moved here with my mom and friends. My dad lives in Salem. I have one brother and soon to have another.

I AM a straight A student. I think that this school is bigger and funnier then the elementary and middle school that I went to. I also think that it is much warmer then Alaska. My favorite sport is softball. I was the best catcher and I hit 15 home runs throughout the year. I think that you're a really good teacher.
