Dear Mrs. Huffman,
My name is Megan, and I sit in the very back of the classroom close to your desk. I have dark brown eyes and hair. I want to tell you a story that I thought was really funny, and I think you will too. It all started when I was two years old and living in my old house. It was the most perfect house I've ever lived in. With lush green yards, fruits and vegetables in the backyard such as strawberries, corn, apple trees, and pear trees. I mean, if I wanted a snack, I could go to the backyard. That's how much stuff we had in there.
My mom was home with me. She has long black wavy hair only because of her perm -- her hair used to be as stiff as a pencil. We were the women of the house; my dad was at work. He works practically the whole weekend.
My mom was making lunch thinking I was on the couch, but when she looked up I was gone. She looked everywhere for me, and when she found me you'll never believe where I was. I was in the bathroom trying to flush my doll down the toilet! You should have seen me holding on to her legs trying to stuff her down and flushing the toilet.
My mom took the doll away from me, and threw it away because it was ruined. And I never got another one till I was older.
Now you know my story. I learned a very good lesson from that incident. Sincerely,
Megan

Poetry:DREAMS When the moon comes out and the stars brightly
shine I fall fast asleep and go back in time.
I went to the dusty, dry desert of Egypt and became
a wealthy Egyptian then went to Greece and became a
Plebeian. I walk on silky, clear water or grow magical wings.
The mind can think up all sorts of things. Of gigantic giants taller than
emerald, green trees or of pixie's about the size of bees.
I could fly like a bird into the azure, blue sky like I didn't
have any doubts in the world. But then I fall, tumble, plunge
into the pitch black darkness. You fall like it was a bottomless pit.
Swirling dizziness flowing through your mind.
You wake up and breath tremendously, hard staring dazed into the darkness
saying it was all just a dream. Or was it? by Megan
