Pumpkins are very cool! We bought four this year. Me and my sister each got a big one and a little one. We got them at a little farm by Highway 30. There was a giant one there that was the size of my desk, but we have a rule that says if you can lift it you can have it, and I couldn't lift it.

My favorite book is Star Wars Jedi Apprentice. All through the book it's exciting, or at least to me. You kind of know what's going to happen, but you don't actually know. I love fiction books, almost any kind. I hate books that actually could happen or just stuff that people really did except the Guinness Book of World Records. I hate books that have to do with real things that is for entertainment.

I love to see sun in the winter because it always rains. I think the sun looks pretty in the winter because it stands out in the fog in the morning and it always looks pretty when it rains. It just looks pretty all the time in the morning.

My favorite book is Mouse on the Motorcycle because I like it how the mouse drives the ambulance and the mouse on the motorcycle. I also like Beverly Cleary's books. She's a good author. The book was pretty good and pretty long. I also like the movie Mouse on the Motorcycle.

I like science and outdoors. I like to fish, hunt, and hike. I also like to dissect things such as deer. After its been shot you get to clean it.

I like the beach on hot days to run in the water, and I love to try to jump the waves before they hit me. I love to run way out there and try to run from a wave before it reaches shore. I like to go down to the beach when it is cold, too, and make a fire or watch the waves and listen to the sound, or get a lot of shells and feed the seagulls, or find different animals like starfish. I like to see how many starfish I can find.

I like fundraisers because sometimes you make new friends and our school gets more money to do stuff or buy stuff like the picnic table and outdoor school. I also like to get the prizes from how much you sell. My favorite fundraiser that we have had is probably when we have the chocolate one because my mom and stepdad buy some, and I like those kinds of chocolates. My favorite kind is probably the new peanut butter kind.

Our play was really good. I had a speaking part. I had one little line but it made a big difference. I was a maid. I didn't want the part but I got it.

Birds are cool to watch when they fly because they look like a little dot, and they look cool when they land. That is all about the birds.

My favorite place to go to have fun or just to relax is the BEACH. Sometimes even when we are there we light off fireworks on the Fourth of July! The last time I went there they said we are ignoring it down at the beach by the water. So we loaded up and we were on our way. We were up till 3:33 in the morning.

Science is fun. I like to learn about different stuff in it. It's fun when you learn about electricity because you get to try and make a light bulb light up. I like to learn about nature and outdoor stuff too. Sometimes it's fun to dissect stuff, but sometimes it's not.

I am hoping not to see the winter sun that much because I want it to snow really hard so I can go sledding. I really want to go sledding because we have a hill that's very steep and very long. We would invite our neighbors and make a 4 person train. We would hold on to each others legs and go down. At the very bottom we have a 4 foot jump and we would crash. It's very fun. That's why I'm hoping for a snowy season.

I think birds are cool! Birds can be all different colors. Kirds are different shapes and sizes. Birds can eat different things like grass, and some eat meat and garbage.

THE BEACH

I like the beach. I have not gone to the beach that often. The last time I went I got over 50 shells. I had fun. I don't know when I am going to the beach again. The last time I went I went to Astoria I had a lot of fun.

I thought that the play was very fun and exciting for me and lots of other kids too. I had a speaking part in the play. I was servant 5. I said, "Now that that is delivered I must go to the bake house and help build the fire for the big oven."

Did you know that not all birds can fly? The penguin is one of them. He uses his wings to glide through the water. The ostrich is another bird that can't fly. It doesn't use its wings at all. It just runs really fast. The chicken is another bird that can't fly. It uses its wings for gliding through the air.

My favorite place to go to the beach is Cape Lookout because it has forests I could go explore. My favorite spot is right on some rocks high enough to look over the sea. The best time to be on those rocks is when the tide comes in just enough to come roaring and crashing into the rocks, and you feel the spray in your face. The sounds of the birds, the wind, and the roaring water just makes you so relaxed. It makes you feel like you want to stay there forever.
