Dear Mrs. Huffman,

Hello. My name is Tyler. I have golden hair, hazel eyes, and no glasses.

Some of my special qualities are: I am funny and I like sports and I'm good at them. Except sometimes I mess up. Once I left a pop in the freezer. I'll tell you the story.

One time I wanted a pop really cold, so in the morning before school I put a pop in the freezer. I didn't know I wasn't coming home and it was in there for about 16 hours and then it blew. When it was dinner time my dad looked in the freezer for ice and he saw the pop and got mad. He told me to clean it up so I did. My mom came home and we talked.

My Favorite Dog
Winter, 1999

One day my mom came home with a golden retriever. I was wondering why she had it then she said that we get to keep hem. I was excited.

His name is Conner. So we played with him for a while, until dinner.

Then we had to go to bed. He got to sleep in our room.

The next day we couldn't find the other dog, but we found him at the neighbors. I thought he was jealous. So I started to play with him a little too.

Now Conner is the only dog we got the other one died. But I like Conner.
