Beginning - rain, wind blows, cold. It's muddy. Everything's wet. Can't run fast.

Middle - lights flicker, vents shake, colder

End - It's a mess. You have to clean the mess up.

Second Step - Putting Ideas Into Paragraph Form:
Storm
by Lorna

The beginning of a storm is windy. It will start raining. If you're in school, you will have an early dismissal. Trees start banging from the wind. You can start to hear thunder.

In the middle of a storm the power might get knocked out. There is things on the road. Lights start flickering in your house. The roofing comes off of your house. It's muddy outside.

At the end of a storm everything starts to come down. The buildings of some houses are caving in. Stuff is flooded like the mid school track. There may be no school for a few days. It is cold outside.

Storms
by Matt

In a storm at the beginning it is muddy and slidy. We had a little mud slide out at our house. The creek flooded. In the storm the creek goes up still and there is a lot of mud. It's cold and rainy.

In the middle it gets worse. There's more rain and mud. No one knows what to do. The creek get higher. It spills over its banks. The people get worried. Water gets higher and it floods the town.

In the end the water gets lower and lower until it's gone. The mud dries up and turns into dust. Everything goes back to normal.

Storms
by Grant

At the beginning of a storm there is lots of rain. There is also big gusts of wind slamming on houses, trees, light poles, and vents rattling. It is also cold at the beginning. It get very muddy because of the rain But it's worse in the middle.

In the middle of a storm there is thunder, lightning and the power gets knocked out. There is also lots of flooding. Cars slide on the road because of wind. Branches fly off trees. I like it when the storm comes to an end.

At the end of a storm is the best time. One reason is that it's over. The second reason is that there is leaves to play in . But I just like the fact that I can go out to play again.

Storms
by Anthony

When the storm starts, it will pick up wind and get rainy and windy. It might start to snow.

Stuff is flying around. There's tornados and heavy wind. And nobody is in sight because they are all in storm shelters.

It's starting to clear up but there's still rain and wind. But everything is all over the road. People are all over cleaning stuff up.

Storms
by Erica

In the beginning of a storm clouds get dark and the sky fills with clouds. It starts to get misty. After it rains a little harder it gets windy.

In the middle of the storm it rains very, very, very hard. The power goes out and huge gusts of wind. Sometimes it floods from raining and gets all muddy. It is scary.

In the end of the storm it starts to cool off a bit, and it takes a long time to get the power hooked up again. There won't be any school the next day.

Storms
by Kayla

Most storms have rain, hail, lightning, and wind. Your lights go out and it's muddy and cold. You see trees down, it floods and gets very cold. When you drive your car it's hard to see the road.

I have been in a storm. There was rain and hail mixed, wind (very fast), big black clouds with lightning, and it was really cold and muddy. We have been having a storm. It has been raining, and has been windy.

Most storms are wind storms, thunder and lightning, twisters, and more. I have been in three different types of storms. I've been in a wind storm, thunder and lightning storm, and a kind of snow storm.
