Basketball

At Petersen School the 6^th grade is going to start intermural basketball. There are six 6^th grade classes. Each class has two teams. There is a captain for each team. The games will start Monday after the sixth grade lunch. The girls play the girls the boys play the boys. Two classes will play each day.

Mrs. Huffman's Boys Win 6^th Grade Basketball Tournament

Mr. McNabb is having an intermural basketball league with all the 6^th classes. And after that we get to go to the playoffs.

This is our season:

• First game we won 15-0,against Mrs. Olson's class.

• The second game was against Williamson. We won 16-8.

• Then we played Franklin, and won 23-4.

• After that it was Campbell, we won 28-0.

• Then we went up against Andrews 16-6.

Then we went into the playoffs (5-0).

• We had first round byes because we were #1.

• The next game was against Andrews, and we won again 28-0.

• We played against Williamson in the championship on Friday.

• On Friday we won the championship, 23-13.

After that we were 7-0.

Mrs. Williamson's team was a lot harder than the other time we played them. It was pretty cool that won the championship because everyone knew we would. Even we did.
