Petersen students indicate huge desire for "fun" facility located near high school: swim lessons and swim team activities also supported

In early March students from A-6 took a survey of student preferences for facilities to be included in the new Scappoose swimming pool. Based on class discussion, A-6 predicted that students would choose a full-service pool -- one that includes space for swim lessons, swim competitions, physical therapy and aerobics classes-- and very definitely, a pool that would have fun places to play. We were right!

* The lazy river is not only a fun device, it is also used to strengthen the user's arms and legs, aids weight loss, etc. by walking against the flow.
