Dear Mrs.Huffman,

My name is Paul I'm 5 feet tall. I have light red hair, I'm 11 years old and I live by Pizza Vendor. I don't know what group I'm in. I like sports, math, and I love electricity.

One day I had a lamp in my room and I tried to turn it on, but it wouldn't work. I picked it up and it electrocuted me, but not very bad. SO I RAN. Right when I was about to tell my brother, I said nothing. Like it didn't even happen. So I went back, and I thought I would do it to my mom just so she would know what happened.

I hated this day after that happened. Then later it happened to a couple more lamps.

Sincerely,
Paul

Scoobydoo!
Winter, 1999

My friend has a dog named Scoobydoo. He is a black dog with a white chest. He can run really fast. He also loves people and he loves licking them.

One day I took my friend's dog Scooby for a walk to the park in Newport and Scooby was about two then. Then we went down the slide and he went first and hit his ankle really hard on the ground. I thought he broke it but it felt fine. So then I went down the slide again and then Scooby came down right after me so I turned around and caught him so he didn't fall and get hurt.

Then we went out in the woods. Then he got distracted by a rabbit and he ran off. Then a ways down there I saw him crying and moaning. I asked what happened then I remembered that dogs don't talk. So I felt his ankle again it was still fine.

Then when we were almost home I saw him limping. So I felt a different one and it was snapped. All that time I was feeling the wrong one.

Then I took him to the Vet office so they could take a look at his ankle. The vet said it was broken for sure. So I waited and he got shots and I watched.

The next day I came back to the Vet he had a cast on now and he looked hurt really bad. So I left. Then came back after about an hour later and took him home and he hot healed pretty fast.

Now he'll never run as fast as he went again.
