The Storm of Aphrodite

Once a long time ago the goddess Aphrodite was lying on a cloud. She was very bored. She looked down at all the people in their little houses. She decided to make something happen to them.

First she added a dash of rain and wind. Then some thunder and lightning. She made the rain and wind come harder. Meanwhile down below the people were in a panic. They ran into their little houses screaming.

Aphrodite was really enjoying this. Harder and harder the rain came down until it turned into hail. The winds got harder too. The wind blew off roof tops and pulled trees right from the ground. She made this happen until the next day the whole town was destroyed and til this day every time Aphrodite gets bored she makes a storm.
