The Minotaur

The kingdom to Creres was usually a little rainy but tonight was a huge storm. The village was out of food so they sent me and my hunting party to hunt. We were out a couple of hours when I got lost. Oh, by the way, my name is Jason.

When I woke up, I was in the most beautiful forest I had ever seen. I still had my bow and a couple of arrows, and there was a herd of deer in front of me. So I got my bow and arrows and shot at one of the deer. As soon as it hit the ground I was somewhere else. I was on a mountain, and there was only one mountain this high in Greece. I was on top of Mt. Olympus.

Then I saw a pair of green eyes. It was Zeus. He said, "You have killed a stag in the secret Forest. Your punishment is you will be sent to the Minotaur." Then I saw walls around me. I was in a maze with the Minotaur. I saw a skeleton with some armor and a sword. I put on the armor then I heard something. It was like a lion roaring. The noise got closer. I picked up the sword and walked.

"There he is," I yelled. He saw me and I started to run. I hid in a corner. Then I saw him again. He was looking for me! I knew the only way I was going to get out alive was to kill the Minotaur. I picked up the sword and ran towards him. He turned around. The sword went straight through his heart.

I wandered for a couple of hours until I reached the center. There was the biggest pot of gold I had ever seen. I grabbed it and I was back in Creres.

I went and told everyone about it. No one believed me, but you and I know its true. Well, that's my story.
