Hooly and Crann
by Kayla
Once a young lady named Hooly was outside in her big field. She was feeding her horses in the shed. Her father knew a god named Crann. Hooly's father owed a great deal to the god Crann. Crann had helped him many years before. He helped him by saving him out of the ocean. Now Hooly's dad owes Crann a favor, but that favor is to give up his daughter or else something very bad would happen. Well, Hooly's father refused to give up Hooly so indeed something very horrible happened.
The sky was covered with rolling black clouds. Suddenly lightning struck here and there. Rain was so heavy it flooded horribly. Rivers are rapidly flowing down the roads. Thunder was booming and banging. Wind was blowing trees down. Trees were falling over the roads.
The next day it was a horrible mess. Hooly's father sent her to the god Crann to work everything out. They argued and agreed on things, but they finally resolved it. If Hooly would stay at Crann's then they would have no problems again, but Hooly had to stay there for a week. Hooly did and everything turned out ok. They were all happy.
