The Storm of Zeus

Once long, long ago there was a god named Zeus. His brother Hades was evil. He wanted to be ruler of the gods. Zeus had a little baby boy and Hades had a plan to steal him. The boy's name was Hercules. When Hades stole Hercules, Zeus grew very hot with rage. Zeus caused a big storm because he didn't know where he was. I will tell you what the storm was like.

At the beginning of the storm there was lots of rain. There was big gusts of wind slamming on houses and trees. It was very fairly cold and very muddy because of the rain.

In the middle of the storm there was thunder and lightning in the sky. There was lots of flooding. Wagons toppled over on the road because of wind. Branches flew off of trees. The storm finally came to an end.

At the end of the storm was a time for rejoicing. One reason was that it was over. The second reason was that there was leaves to play in for the kids. But I think everyone liked the fact that they could go outside again to enjoy the sun again when Hercules came back.
