Dear Mrs. Huffman,

Hi, my name is Erica. I have red hair, glasses, and I usually wear a teal and blue jacket. I sit near the heater in a group with four people. They are myself, Melody, Brittany, and Jason.

I am going to tell about the time I moved. First, it was a Saturday morning when we took all of the packed boxes to my grandma's house. We stayed in a motor home for one week (7 days).

At the end of the week we took all the important boxes that we could use to sleep and eat with. The next morning we took all the other stuff to my new house. I waited all summer to get to my new school.

Then came August 31st. I was at my new school with you, my new teacher.

My Favorite Cat
Winter, 1999

Hi my name is Erica. I have eleven pets all together. I have three cats, one dog, one hamster, and seven fish. I used to have eight but one was eaten. I have one favorite animal. It's my own cat.

My cat is my favorite pet because she's so cuddley. She always puts her paws around y9our neck and does this little thing to your fair, it tickles a lot!

She purrs so loud. As a matter of fact, she purrs louder than any cat I've ever heard. Now she is pregnant. We think that she'll have 5-9 kittens because of how fat she is getting. She used to be our second skinniest cat.

The male she chose to have kittens with, had silky, black fur. He also had gorgeous green eyes with a black slit down the middle of his eyes. He also was very skinny. He kept trying to hurt her so we had to scare him off.

Now, every so often we see him playing with other cats. My cat is going to give birth any day now, so we made her a bed out of a box and a cozy blanket. I HOPE she'll use it instead of MY bed!
