Well, if you want to get something special for someone you can go to school
and go to Santa's Workshop and get a whole bunch of stuff like collectors
mugs, toys, earrings, and a whole lot more. Just bring money and go to Santa's
Workshop. The price goes from as low as 15 cents to as much as $10.00. That's
all the higher the price goes. You can even get stuff for grandparents.
Our high school football varsity squad, the Scappoose Indians, was pretty bad at first. We lost both pre-season games against Stayton and Sweet Home. Then in regular season we went 11-0. We were awesome. We had a close game against our rival, St. Helens.
Then in post-season we beat Mazama 20-14 and Tillamook 41-27, and then we played Sisters and lost 22-0. That game our quarterback got a concussion.

Mrs. Huffman's volleyball team made it to the championship. The game went well but at the end of the game we lost 15-8. Yes we were disappointed but we were glad we made it to the championships, we played well. |
Mrs. Huffman's boys volleyball team was in the championship game. They played Mrs. Williamson's class and lost. They should have won and if they did they were going to dedicate it to Mrs. Huffman's girls. Mrs. Williamson came in 1st, Huffman in second, Franklin was 3rd, Campbell was 4th, Andrews was 5th and Mrs. Olson's class came in 6th.
Santa's Workshop is a place at Peterson School where students get to buy gifts for their friends and family. The Workshop has colorful gift bags for the things that students buy there. The prices range from $0.15 to $10.00 total. It is a fun experience for the students and their family. There are many gifts they can choose from. I bought 11 presents, and had only spent under $17.00! My parents and I were amazed. It's great fun for the whole family.

Our School Plays |
This month we are doing two school plays. The first is Electra. In Electra I am in control of the sound. The play is a drama. It is supposed to be sad but I think it's kind of funny.
The second play is about the stingiest man in the world. He's so stingy that when he sleeps at night he places a balloon over his mouth to catch and save the air he exhales. Believe it or not he weeps when he washes his hands for he hates to waste a drop of water. It is a very funny play and I think that it will turn out for the best. Oh yeah, I'm the narrator.
We had a play about some Greek gods and how they live. The Greeks live like they can't be proud. They can't think they're better than any gods.
We had another (Roman) play and how they live. They live a fun life. They
have gladiators. Pot of Gold is a good play, and the reason that I think that is
because they're stingy.

This school is so cool since I have been here. I have had Miss Zelfer for
fourth grade and then I had for fifth grade Mrs. Perry. They were both great
teachers but now for hard sixth grade I have Mrs. Huffman. She is cool too
but I don't like the work.

I think the plays went okay. There were a lot of people watching us. I am glad most of the classes wrote a letter saying they liked our plays and we did a good job remembering all of those lines. I think that everyone did a good job on the plays and they worked very hard at it.
