Dear Mrs. Huffman,

I have had a lot of bad luck over the years, so much it would probably take 20 pages or more. I don`t think I will write that much, but I will tell you some of the worst things that have happened to me .

Well when I was ten years old I broke my right foot. I had two different casts on my foot. My first cast was bright pink, but I got my cast so wet from showers that the doctors had to put on a new one. It was blue with football helmets all over it.

When I was eleven years old I fell on our biggest and sharpest knife. I had nine stitches on my knee for three weeks. Now I have a big scar down my knee.

There was a lot of bad things that have happened to me. I only wrote two of them .

Sincerely,

Dean

One day in April of 1996 my uncle John saw a dog in his yard. The dog was covered in mud.

The next day John gave us a call about the dog. He said that he had found a dog in his yard and if we didn't come and get it he would have to take it to the pound because he has a Dalmation dog.

So we came down to his house and got the dog. As soon as we got home we gave the dirty dog a bath. After the bath he was pure white but he did have some brown furr around his eyes.

How our dog got his name. A week later we whent to a video rental place called Video Land, in Protland. We decided to rent a movie called Cujo a movie about a dog that gets rabies and kills a couple of people. After the movie we decided to name our dog Kujo, not with a C because we didn't want people to get the wrong idea.

It has been 2 years since Kujo was found and we bought a house here in Scappoose. Kujo loves it because he has a big yard to run around in.
