Hurricanes are horrible raging disasters just waiting to happen. So Why do they happen? This may be one of many Questions about hurricanes.

Why are there hurricanes?

Hurricanes mix tropical water with the northern water. Wouldn't you like that, probably not the way the hurricanes does it.

What kind of damage do they do?

EVERY THING ! They tare every thing apart roads ,trees even houses!

Were do they start?

In the tropics, Africa most of all where the warm waters are. The hurricanes use warm water as it's fuel like we use food for fuel.

Were do they end?

In the cold water or land. Because when it goes off it's power ( warm water) it coasts to a stop.

What is the eye of the hurricane?

The eye of the storm is the best part of the hurricane literally. Because there is none if any little wind. But what comes after it is a whole 'nother story!

What is the storm surge?

The storm surge is the deadliest part of the hurricane it is like a tide but stronger!

What are they called in different parts of the world?

They are called many things throughout the World. For example Cyclone, and Typhoon.
