WW2

by Christian

When you read this paper, you will learn about the depression in Germany, the depression in USA, and the Soldiers without guns.

In 1922-1923, the depression hit Germany. Many people lost their jobs. The state government collapsed, and the inflation ruined the value of money in Germany.

The depression in the USA wasn't much different then the one in Germany, except that the USA depression lasted a bit longer, there were more people homeless and jobless, and it was before WW2.

"Soldiers without guns" means that many of the woman worked in factories and industries. Mostly all the jobs that were for men were for woman at that time. This means: melting metal, operating heavy machinery, and making war weapons.

In this paper, I have told you about the depression in Germany, the depression in the USA, and the soldiers without guns. I hope you enjoyed my paper.

World War II

In my essay I will talk about treaties, some about the Americans, Pearl Harbor, the soldiers without guns, and the ATOMIC BOMB!

After world war I ended the countries signed a treaty. Hitler, Mussolini, and Tojo signed a treaty that promised to help each other threw the next war. Other countries didn't want to fight again. They were called the Neutral nations.

America was one of the neutral nations. We stopped trading with Japan, but Japan needed oil and fuel. On December of 1941 Japan bombed us at Pearl Harbor. Pearl Harbor is what got the United States of America into the war.

All the men were called to the war. They needed someone to take there jobs. So the women were called to work at their old jobs. The children also helped out, they collected paper, metal, and robber products. Most of the food was going to the men at war. So the families had to plant a garden. The women and the children are known as the soldier without guns.

President Franklin died when the war was still going on. So a new president took over. His name was Harry S. Truman. After Harry took over the scientists made a new kind of bomb that nobody has ever seen. The never tested to see if it would work so they left the decision to Harry.

Harry S. Truman decided to bomb Japan. The Atomic bomb killed or injured about 20,000-40,000 people. Finally on August 14, 1945, Japan surrendered. WORLD WAR WAS OVER!

WORLD WAR II AXIS LEADERS

Hello my name is Kayla and I'm going to talk about the three Axis leaders, Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, and Hideki Tojo. The three leaders are leaders of countries. Hitler: Germany, Mussolini: Italy, Tojo: Japan.

Adolf Hitler was the leader of Germany. The people of Germany wanted some one who could solve their problems. Hitler told the people that he was the person to do that. He never said that they were beat by outside countries, but by traitors and that's how he got the people to follow him. Now he, Adolf Hitler was dictator of Germany.

Benito Mussolini and Hitler signed a treaty called the Axis Pact. Just like Germany, Italy listened to one man, Benito Mussolini. Germany and Italy were kind of alike. They had the same problems. Mussolini said the only way to cure Italy's problems was to have the government control all businesses in the country.

Hidiki Tojo joined Hitler and Mussolini. Hidiki Tojo was the leader of Japan. Japanese air planes bombed the American naval base at Pearl Harbor in the Hawaiian islands on December 7, 1941. Tojo, Hitler, and Mussolini were not about to discuss their problems in the league of nations. They wanted to take control of land out side their boundaries to help their countries become strong powers.

These people are people to remember because they were leaders of countries and led their countries through the wars. I hope you know more about the war.

THE UNITED STATES ENTERS THE WAR

By Jenny E.

Have you ever imagined what it would be like in World War 2? With concentration camps and knowing Hitler? Well I hope this essay will let you realize how severe World War 2 really was.

After Japan [axis] took over Manchuria the United States [allies] warned Japan to stop its attacks, but they didn't listen. Then in 1941 Japan took over French Indochina. The United States realized they had no choice but to cut ff trades with all of Japan. This hurt Japan because they needed the oil that we provided for them. Also it locked all the money Japan had invested in the American banks. A lot of the Japanese people felt they were being bullied and pushed around.

Then on December 7, 1941 the Japanese people bombed the naval base in Pearl Harbor. The next day December 8 the United Sates declared war on Japan after they bombed Pearl Harbor. On December 11, 1941 the United States entered the war against Japan. In doing so the United States signed a treaty with Germany and Italy, they agreed to team up against Japan.

After the attack of Pearl Harbor the people in the United States were concerned that the Japanese Americans would be traitors to the United States. Then the President had the 112,000 Japanese Americans removed from the United States and were thrown into concentration camps. When the war started Hitler was in charge of the camps. If anyone doubted or questioned him they would be executed in the camps.

Well after reading my report I hope it has let people get a bigger and better understanding of how severe World War 2 really was.

How World War II Started

Have you ever wondered how world war II started? Who started it? And who helped? Well if you want to find out, just keep reading! I've got all the answers right here!

How It All Started

It was the year of 1929 and the great depression was just starting. The great depression was a time when the stock market completely crashed, everybody was out of a job, out of money, out of food, and out of a home! But by 1939, the great depression was over and world war II had just begun. World War II was a total war. Which means it involved nearly everybody!

At the end of World War I, everybody officially blamed Germany for starting the war. For that, Germany had to pay the cost for such nations as England and France. Except the German government had very little money, and had trouble paying the off the cost. There were lots of problems in Germany. The Germans were willing to listen to anybody who sounded like they had the answers to their problems.

That man was Adolf Hitler. Hitler was the leader of a powerful party called the Nazi party. He promised the Germans that he would make them a world power once again. He knew that the only way to get people to believe and follow him would be to blame somebody else for everything. Hitler claimed that in World War I Germany wasn't beaten by outsiders but by traitors. He blamed the whole thing on the Jewish people.

Of course the Jews weren't traitors. They didn't cause Germany's problems either. Except many Germans listened and followed Hitler. If he found a Jew he would kill them or send them to concentration camps.

Italy had a lot of the same problems that Germany had. Just like the Germans, the Italians listened to one man that sounded like he had all the answers. The man for Italy was Benito Mussolini. Mussolini claimed that the answers for Italy's problems was to have the government control all the businesses in the country.

By 1936 Hitler and Mussolini agreed to sign a treaty. That treaty was called the Axis Pact. They agreed to help and support each other in case of an attack. Later on they agreed to let General Hideki Tojo join. Tojo was the leader of Japan.

These men wanted their countries to be strong powers. So sometime during the 1930's, Japan took over Manchuria, which is part of northern China. The Italians invaded Ethiopia and Albania. Germany conquered Australia and Czechoslovakia.

Then, finally, on September 1st, 1939, Germany decided to attack Poland. Earlier that year, France and England had signed their own treaty with Poland. They agreed to protect Poland in case they were attacked. After Germany's attack, France and England declared war on Germany. The same as in World War I, England and France and all of the other countries that sided with them were called the Allies.

If you want to find out more about World War II, like how it ends and when the U.S. comes in, you can go on-line, or check your local library for a good book on it.

World War II

Have you ever wondered who was in the Axis Pact? You have come to the right place to find out! There were three main people in the Axis Pact, from three different countries, Adolf Hitler, Benito, Mussolini, and Hideki Tojo.

After World War I Germany had to pay for some of the damage done to England and France, because Germany was blamed for the war. The Germans needed help because of money problems. They listened to a man named Adolf Hitler. By 1932 Hitler and his Nazi Party were the most powerful in Germany. In 1933 Hitler was head of government, but he wanted even more power. Six months later he was named the dictator of Germany.

In Italy about the same thing was happening. The man they listened to was Benito Mussolini. He said, to make Italy a better country the government had to have complete control of all the businesses in the country. In 1936 Mussolini signed a treaty called the Axis Pact. The Axis Pact is a peace of paper that says, if one of the countries is under attack the other will defend them.

Later they were joined by Hideki Tojo. Tojo was leader of Japan. Hitler and Mussolini still needed another person to help them take over the world. So they went to Japan. Tojo signed the Axis Pact too.

Even with the Axis Pact America still came out on top!! The war ended in 1945. Just one month before the war ended Franklin Roosevelt died.

World War 2 Essay

Hi! I'm Amanda, and I'm going to tell you about World War 2. The main thing is the war but I'm also going to tell you about; Hitler, Germany, and the Jews. World War 1 was called "the war to end all wars." But then World war 2 came along.

Germany was blamed for starting the war. Because they did. Germany was mad about World war 1. And it didn't help that there was a depression. They wanted someone who could solve all there problems, which was Adolf Hitler. He spoke of solving all Germany's problems and getting revenge.

Germany's problems continue into the 1930's. Workers lose their jobs, farmers there land, civilians there savings. The government is unable to fix the depression.

Hitler tried to cover up the things that he did he did by blaming it all on the Jews. Hitler was leader of the Nazi Party. By 1932 it was the most powerful party in Germany. In 1933 Hitler was head of the government. But he wasn't satisfied he wanted to be dictator. By 1934 he was dictator.

Hitler promised that he would Germany powerful again. They thought Hitler could solve all there problems. If anyone said Hitler did the wrong thing or disagreed with him, they would be shot or tortured to death.

Hitler didn't want Germany to turn against him so he blamed everything on the Jews. All the Jews were sent to concentration camps, there homes were burned and vandalized.

Every night all the Jews would be lined up, and they would shoot someone every so often.

They also had death camps, they were where all the old and crippled were shot and babies were taken from there mothers and killed. Some even dug their own graves. Trailers would be filled with Jews and gasses would kill them. also gasses were let out into the showers, killing more. They also used human skin for lamp shades.(that just grosses me out.)

The Jews were treated like this until the Allies,(Americans) freed all the Jews in Western Germany.

Thank you. I hope you enjoyed my Essay and learned a lot. And I hope World War 2 will be "The War to end all Wars." And not have a War with Afghanistan.

WORLD WAR TWO

Hi my name is Nolen and I'm going to tell about the Allies and the Axis.

First I'm going to tell you about the Axis, their leaders were Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, and Hideki Tojo they led the Germans, the Italians, and the Japanese through World War Two. They had taken over Austria, and Czechoslovakia by the 1941. They bombed Pearl Harbor which caused the U.S. to declare war on Japan.

Second I'm going to tell you about the allies which included the U.S., the Soviet Union, parts of Africa, part of Brazil, most of China, and India. President Harry S. Truman had to make a very hard decision, to bomb Japan or not, on August 6, 1945, the Atomic bomb hit Hiroshima, Japan the out come was devastating the bomb had killed 78,000 people, but that wasn't all over, on August 9, 1945, the U.S. dropped another Atomic bomb on Nagasaki, Japan. The results were 40,000 people dead. On August 14, 1945, the decision that ended the war happened. Hideki Tojo, surrendered, the war was over!

In conclusion the U.S. dominated World War Two. I hope you liked my essay.

Sincerely, Nolen
