Howdy folks have you ever rode a horse going so fast you don't know where you are? What about riding a horse and roping a calf at the same time? Hi I'm Haily and I am going to teach you about rodeo and the events I do!

The event I do in rodeo are poles bending and break away roping and more. Poles is my favorite event because it is fun and I am good at it. In poles there are six poles and they are 21 feet apart. When you do poles you go straight down beside the poles. When you get to the last pole you turn left and weave through them until you get to the last pole and you turn right and keep weaving. The last pole on the left you turn left and head back.. Break away is fun too! What you do is when you are in the chute you shake your head that makes the chute open. The cow goes out and you start going. When you are in position you throw! If you catch you stop and the rope will break. And the time will stop. My fastest time is a 4.04 seconds.

My horse is named Annie. She is nine years old in human years. She is half pony half horse. She is a Palomino that is a yellow horse. She is great horse and awesome at almost every event she does!

My horse and I both have to wear special stuff. I have to wear a long sleeve T shirt, long pants, cowboy boots, and a cowboy hat. Annie wears protection boots called skid boots, bell boots, and splint boots. They all protect her legs .

I hope you all learned a lot. I know I did. Well see you folks later.
