STONE FOX

Stone Fox is a story about a boy named Will Fox, and his father dies and its up to Will to save his families farm. So Will enters a sled dog race with his dog Curly, and his dads dog Spits. Will has his dads good friend to help him train him for the race Will has to work hard but he survives. When Will gets to the race he meets some friends, and enemies. The commission didn't want Will to race so they made up some late fee and Will didn't have enough money so a reporter paid his fee.

So if you want to know about how Will saves his family farm read STONE FOX.

Holes

Hi my name is Nolen and I'm going to tell you about a great book!

Holes is an excellent book. It's about a kid named Stanley who gets in trouble and shipped out into the middle of nowhere, there he gets a nickname which is "Caveman," and has to dig holes five feet wide and five feet deep, but Stanley gets tired of it and runs away.

Some the characters are "X-ray," and "Caveman," or Stanley. The genre is fiction, this book takes place in Greenlake, Texas sometime around 1998 and 2002.

The reason I picked this book was because everybody told me it was a great book. I recommend this book for ages 9 and up.

Point Blank

I had read the first book - Stormbreaker, by Anthony Horawitz, last year. So I knew this would be good. The main character is Alex Rider, a fourteen-year-old double 07. When his uncle, a banker at Royle and General Bank, died, he found out he really wasn't a banker, he worked for M16– the British Secret Service. Then Alex gets roped in!

In Point Blank there were two men – wealthy men – that mysteriously died. The director, Alan Blunt, of M16 became suspicious. So Alex Rider is on the case.

I highly suggest that you read Stormbreaker first. Point Blank is a great book and on a scale of 1 to 5 I rate this book a 9. This story is definitely a action adventure. So I hope you read this book and get chills up your spine.

Fudge-A-Mania

The book I`m reading is Fudge A-Mania. It`s about this boy named Peter and his family. He has just finished the sixth grade. Peter and his family go on vacation in Maine were the story takes place. The Tubmans (another family) goes with Peter. So Peter, Fudge, Tootsie, Peter`s grandma, mom, and dad. Sheila was the daughter of the Tubmans Sheila and Peter went to school together. Sheila`s sister, mom, and dad. Peter thinks that Sheila is the cootie queen. Fudge is five and the trouble maker.

I picked this book because Judy Blume is a great author and I love Fudge books.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes to laugh and likes realistic fiction.

THERE'S A HAIR IN MY DIRT

Hi, I'm Paul and I'm going to tell you about a book that I read recently. I read a book called, THERE'S A HAIR IN MY DIRT written by Gary Larson. It is surely the funniest book I have ever read. The book takes place under ground in a worms house where there is a hair in his dirt, and his father tells him a story. The story his father tells him is about a so-called beautiful maiden. She goes for a walk in the forest to look at all the wild-life. Harriet (the beautiful maiden) sees everything from a squirrel to a tortoise. Little miss twinkle toes finds a snake killing a rat, she then gets a stick and pounds the snake, but then she picks up the rat and puts it to her face and wipes her eye. Then she then she puts the rat down and the next day she well, you'll just have to read the book.

I picked this book, because I needed a book to read in class. If you ever read htis book you have to read the things on the side, like male ladybug anonymous and a flower cutting the other flower. I would recommend this book to a person who likes funny stories. The only bad thing about the book is you can only find it in Mrs. Huffman's sixth grade class.

Amanda's Book Report

Hi! My name is Amanda.. This is my book report, it is called The Road to Memphis. It is written by Mildred D. Taylor, and won the New Berry Honor Award.

It all takes place in StrawBerry, it only has a store, gas station, and a lot of farms. Also Jackson, a huge city. And also Catty a small little town.

The Logan family is your typical black family with 3 children, Cassie, Stacey, and Little Man. Cassie is the only girl and mostly always wears trousers when Big Ma and Mama ain't around.

The story starts when Stacey brings home a car. Then takes Moe, Clarence, Cassie, and Little Man with him. They're going to Jackson because they work and go to school there.

Well when get to a town called Catty they stop and get gas. Well that is not all that happens, Moe nearly kills three people with a crow bar. Well if you want to read what happens then go read it.

If I could rate this book on a scale from 1-5, I'd rate it a 6 ½. If you it read also read Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry. If you like adventure, fear, love, trouble, and a little hope then this book is for you.

Julie of the Wolves

I like the book because it was a mistier and it was good but the character was Julie. She went on a trip to the town. It took place in Alaska somewhere. The wolf was scared of her at first but were she keep on going to town to get food for her.

I choose this book because it looked good to read. So I did read the book. The end was good and I liked the book. I liked the book because it was a surprise to me at the end of the book. I read it in 5t h grade before I moved here. I ready liked the book and I wish I could read it again.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

Hi my name is Kayla and I chose this book because it is about wizards, magic and witches. The main characters are Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weisley, and Hagrid. My favorite characters are Hermione and Hagrid. The story takes place at Hogwarts school for wizards. The kids try to get the sorcerer's stone, but it is not that easy. They have to talk to Hagrid about it. Professor Dumbledore is the head wizard at hog warts. He is another one of my favorite characters. I like these characters because they have a cool personality. Like Hermione, she is very smart, smartest out of them all. Hagrid always says I shouldn't have said that. Dumbeldore is just funny.

This book is so exciting because it is adventurous. The dark forest is forbidden to all students who wish to die a most painful death. This book is written by a fab author J. K . Rowling . If you want to find out more about this book you will have to read it. You can find this book in the school library, Mrs Huffman's room , and probably at the Scappoose library. Remember Harry Potter is a good book to read .On a scale of one to five I would rate this book a five because of its fantastic adventures.

Spongebob Naturepants

In Spongebob Naturepants, Spongebob decides he likes jellyfish more than his friends. So he goes to live with the jellyfish. He sells all his stuff to his friends, rips off his pants, and leaves with out a word. When he meets the jellyfish he decides to call himself Jellybob. Every time he shakes their hand they shock him. While Sandy and Patrick are on a picnic having krabby patties Spongebob spots them. They try to convince him, but he can't be convinced. Finally Patrick trys to catch him and put him in a jar.

To find out what happends you'll just have to read it. The main characters are Sandy, Patrick, and Spongebob. The setting is in the ocean. I picked it because I like Spongebob.

THE TWITS

Well one of the best books I've ever read would have to be the Twits. This book has everything, comedy, action, mystery, and it is a little disgusting!

It is about a married couple that has been together to long, so they try to liven up their life by playing tricks on each other, and don't think they aren't harmless, they will go as far as to tie each other to balloons and letting them float away.

But unbelievably, they do have something in common, they have four pet monkeys that they torture. While the Twits go to the store they make the monkey stand on their heads. Sometimes the baby monkeys stand on their head so long they faint! None of the monkeys like the Twits and wish they could get out of their REALLY small cage.

But one day the monkeys see a bird, and they share the same thoughts about the Twits. So they team up and play the mother of all tricks, the grand finale! Now, I'm not going to tell you what it is, but let me just say this, its good, really good.

So I hope I've interested you in this awesome book, so next time you're looking for one I recommend the Twits (by Roald Dahl).

Dead by Sunset

The book I'm going to tell you about is a very good murder mystery. It's called Dead by Sunset. It actually takes place in Portland, Oregon. It's about a woman by the name of Cheryl Keaton who was killed on the Sunset Highway.

One night a man was driving on the Sunset Highway and he saw a car turned sideways in the road and he got out and went to go see what happened, to him it looked like a car accident, but there lay the badly bludgeoned body of Cheryl Keaton, he ran back to his car and called 911. The cops also thought it was an accident The next day an autopsy was done and it revealed that what looked like a fatal car accident, really was a homicide.

The book I just told you about was written by Ann Rule, I'm not going to tell you how it ends. You can find it at Barnes & Nobles book store in Beaverton. If I could rate this book on a scale of 1-10 I'd rate it a 9.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

This book is a fiction book. It is a good fiction book though.

The place this book takes place in is London, England. London is a very nice place.

The main characters are: Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasly, Nevel Longbattom, and Albes Dumbledor. Albis Dumbledor is the Head Master at Hogwarts. Hermione is my favorite character.

I picked this book because I love Mystical and fiction stories of wizards, castles, and dragons. Especially the dragons.

I would recommend this book because this book will take you to a land of mystical and fictional proportions. This book will teach you that being normal isn't all so bad, and it will teach you that the Grim Reaper has Minions.

IT TAKES TWO

Hi my name is Tanya. I read a book called It Takes Two. The reason I chose this book is because it's a Mary-Kate and Ashley book but they play different characters. Some of the characters are Roger Callaway, Alisa Callaway, Vencenzo, Clarice Kensington, Amanda Lemon, and Diane Barrows. It has an awesome ending, it has funny, sad, mad, and happy parts in it. Roger, Alisa, Vencenzo, and Clarice live in a mansion type house because they are rich. Alisa's mom died when Alisa was born. Amanda is an orphan because her parents died when she was very young. Diane works at the orphanage and wants to adopt Amanda, but the orphanage won't let her because she works there. For more information check out the book.
