World War II
I'm going to tell you what happened to the Japanese, and the Allies, and the Axis.
President Truman had to make a decision. He had to decide to use the atom bomb or not. The military leader said to use it because it might end a war that might go on for at least two more years. The scientist said it would kill less people too. Truman said to use it. They dropped two bombs and killed at least 118,000 people.
The allies were the good guys. They had more people on their side than the axis. Some of the poeple they had were the Russians, French, Britain, and England. The allies ended up winning the war because Germany and Italy surrendered.
The axis were the bad guys. In the axis they had Hitler. Hitler was a very bad man. He blamed the Jews for starting the war. These are some of the people the axis had on their side. The Germans, and the Italians. They ended up losing the war by surrendering.
So have learned about Japan, the allies, and the axis in my story about World War II.
