World War II
There are many things to talk about in World War II. Sorry, but I can only tell you about three things today. They are how it began, about the U. S., and how it ended.
First I'm going to tell you how World War II began. World War II began on September 1, 1939, when two things happened. One was when Japan invaded Manchuria, a town in China. Another was when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. That's when the United States declared war on Japan.
Now I'll tell you about what the U. S. did in World War II. Some of the things we did were we helped destroy some of the major industries in Germany. We also fought in Asia, and helped win the war.
And last but not least, how the war ended. There were many things that ended the war. Some of them are making the Atomic Bomb and dropping it on Japan and making them surrender. It ended on August 14, 1945.
Now that you know how the war started, what the U. S. did to help, and how it ended, you can do a report on World War II.
