World War II Allies

Who were allies in World War Two. And what did they do. This is what I learned.

America worked hard to help win the war with Russia, France, and England. The American bombers weakened Germany by destroying important industries held Germany and Italy.

Russia was an allie of the U. S. The revolution in 1917 had changed Russia's name to the Soviet Union. Russian soldiers swept into Germany from the east.

Europe was a allie of the U. S. too. The allies made a final decision to invade the German that a holding Europe under captive.

France was a allie of the U. S. American troops landed on France's coast to fight the Germans and push them back to Germany.
