Rosa Parks, a negro, refused to give up her seat to a white on the city bus. Police came onto the scene and arrested the negro. They took her case to the supreme court. There is a trial right now, as you're reading this.

In even more recent news, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. has started a non-violent boycott.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. has organized this boycott by having a number of blacks walk, carpool, and everything else except ride the bus until Rosa Parks is set free. Police officers have been trying everything to stop this. They have been ticketing carpools and walkers, but the boycott still continues.
