My November Book Report:
The Velvet Room, book report by Samantha
The Velvet Room by Zilpha Keatley Snyder is a historical fiction book. I'm going to tell you about the plot, climax, and resolution, and the conclusion.
In The Velvet Room the setting is in the late 1800's, and takes place in California, where they live. The main charactors were Robin, Bridget, and Gwen.
The rising action happens when she keeps having to hide all her secrets of the velvet room and she doesn't fit in at school. I think the climax is when Robin is inside the Las Palmeras house and Fred Criley and two buddies went and robbed the house and tried to set it on fire.
The resolution is when Robin and her family move into Las Palmeras house and she finds out that Bridget really is Bonita and she shares the secrets of the Velvet Room. I think the author did a good job writing the book and used a lot of descriptive words. It was a good book.
Now that I've told you about the main character, conclusion, plot, resolution, and rising action, I hope you will read this book yourself.
