Bridge to Terabithia

The time period is 1940. This book takes place in Virginia. The main characters are Jess, Oliver, Arons, and Leslie Burke.
The rising action was when Leslie beat Jess at running.
They ended up good friends until one day Leslie died. Jess's life was ruined.
I think the author did a good gob with real life emotions.
