Dragonwings

This book takes place in about the 1970's in San Francisco. The main characters are Moon Shadow and his dad.
The plot is Moon Shadow, a young Chinese boy, came from China to San Francisco to see his dad. Most of the men and boys hate Chinese and beat them. Moon Shadow's dad decides to build an airplane.
The climax is when Moon Shadow's dad tries to fly. He get up in the air but when he tries to land he crashes.
The falling action is when father recovers and brings Moon Shadow's mom over to America.
I think the author did a good job on the story.
