My November Book Report:
Journey Home, book report by Chance
This essay will be on the book Journey Home. The author is Yoshiko Uchida. Yoshiko Uchida is a famous author in Japan.
The story takes place in the U.S.A. The story takes place during World War 2. The son of the family goes and fights against Japan in the war.
The main characters in the story are Yuki the families daughter, the mom, the dad, Emi, the Olsen's, Mr. Oka, Emi's grandma and grandfather, Mrs. Henley and Mr. Henley.
The biggest problem would be that Yuki and her family are Japanese. And another would be no one likes them because they are Japanese.
I think there was lots of climax's. One would probably be when she met Mr. Oka. Another would be when Ken came home or when they bought the store.
They never really solved their problems but they did make some friends. I thought the book was all right but I like action but the author did a good job.
