My November Book Report:
Bridge to Terabithia, book report by Brighton
I'm going to talk about a book called "Bridge to Terabithia." I'm going to tell you about what happened in this story.
First, I will tell you that there is a boy named Jess. He has 4 other sisters their names are Ellie, Brenda, Joyce Ann, and May Belle. May Belle is different she worships Jess she is going to turn 7 almost soon.
It all starts out like this: one day Jess woke up got dressed before his parents are up same with his sisters wne out to the field and practiced running he wants to be the fastest kid in the 5th grade. He was the fastest kid in 4th grade so he wants to be the fasted in 5th. The next day he meets Leslie Burke. Leslie Burke is a new kid next door and they become friends. They are in the same class.
Before I tell any more I'm going to tell you about the main characters as you can tell they are Jess and Leslie. Now, I will go back to the story. They do everything together. They even built a fort. They called it Terabithia. It is in the forest right next to the river. The problem is that if it rains hard the water starts going up and it's very dangerous. They figured that they have to walk around to it. Then they found some rope and hung it up on a branch then one day they tried to jump it with the rope Jess made it and he thought Leslie did too so he went home and when he did that Leslie fell and hit her head. The next day they found her dead! They made a bridge Jess and May Belle. They think she's still around.
I think the author did a good job and everything she made you think. I like this book.
