The boy Leigh Botts' dad did not lived with Leigh and his mom. Leigh and his mom live in a Central Coast about twenty miles from the sugar refinery were his dad used to haul beets in.
Dear Mr. Henshaw was the book had a lot to do with Mr. Henshaw. At the end of the book his dad comes to see Leigh and to give him his dog Bandit.
The Author did a good job on the book .
