New Providence
I started taking data from Saturday, August 7, 1875. In that year New Providence had dirt roads. It showed the most bright green of any other year. The parks were all very well decorated and all the people were dressed in black and white.
It changed a lot from 1875 to 1910. On Friday, September 23, 1910, there were much more cars, people, buildings, and trees. There were more sivible horses and carriages. The roads were made of brick and they had two trolley lanes (tracks). The people were still dressed in black and white.
By Monday, October 21, 1935, New Providence had pavement streets, and mostly black cars. The buildings stayed the same but became more colorful.
From Monday, October 21, 1935, to Tuesday, December 20, 1955, most of the buildings lost their names and got new ones. I see more visible parking lots and more houses in the background.
On Wednesday, May 13, 1970, there were practically no streets. A school was formed and more street lights were put up.
Ten years later, Thursday, July 10, 1980, things were mostly the same. Just about everything was the same. But I did notice a McDonalds was built.
The next date was Friday October 12, 1990. Therewas much more people. They dressed alot more colorfully. The sidewalks were brick and there was alot more trees.
In the year 2005 I think it will look like it did in 1990 because I think they have decided on having a small street instead of a huge plaza with grass.
