In 1875 New Providence had dirt roads and a lot of people walking around. They were all wearing black, mostly. They had a park, a church, a hotel, tailor, boots and shoes, grocery, real estate, and a dining room. There was a lot of farm land, then. The "cars" were pulled by horses.

In 1910 New Providence had brick roads and a fair amount of people on the sidewalk. They had a trolley and cars that had motors. They were all wearing black again. They had a park, a Getz and McLure, tenebo office, groceries, and a lot more buildings. They had less farmland.

The difference between 1875 and 1910 is they changed there roads to brick. They were still all wearing black. The number of buildings increased. The farmland decreased. The city got bigger.

There were the most people on the streets in 1910 because there was a public ceremony. They were all wearing black.

In 1875 dirt road. 1910 brick road. 1935 asphalt. 1970 plaza. 1990 no plaza.

There is going to be a bigger city in 2015. There is going to be a lot more cars in 2015, less wild animals and more people.
