In 1875 there was a lot of carts and horses on the street. In my portion there was also a little boot store, a tailor and lots of family shops, so at that time there was few people and mostly a lot of farmland. This town didn't make a lot of money and probably more modern than most town, but it had no city clock or paved roads!
There was a lot of change because the city was being more modernized in 1910. It was a time of change and renewing because the old pharmacy is now a photography shop and the tower is just being built. For transportation there's still some horses (like the ice truck) for example, and the streets are fairly clean and paved with bricks. In the background there's a lot of trees and some houses, and there is a town clock.
In 1935 the clock is a new different one and it's right in front of the Butter House Cafe. There's lamps posts too. The cars are different and the street is paved. There's an ice-cream shop, and in the hills there's still lots of trees. 1955 has snow on the ground and an Alpine Motel and stores and the pharmacy. The clock is still there, and cars are like the ones in old movies (like a Studebaker). In the hills there's a lot more houses and a big mansion.
In 1970 there's a bunch of stores but not a town clock anymore. There's a lot of shops and stores and a Holiday Inn. There's a lot of trees in the background and not so many houses (people moving away). 1980 has a McDonald's and a lot of big buildings. There's a lot of deteriorating buildings and graffiti. And the 1877 on Jay's pharmacy has been there in mostly every picture. But in the background there's a new building (fitness center) and a building being wrecked. The clock isn't there and there's a new police booth, probably because there's a lot more crime.
Now for 1990 there's a lot of improvement in the look of the town. There's a computer store and a lot of modern technology stores like that. The clock is back and the town is pretty clean. New asphalt street is a good touch to the city. I think in ten years that this portion of town will have a lot more people and the town will have a lot of change but still keep their heritage. I think there will be floating cars and builings on other planets.
