New Providence

In 1875 there was a town called New Providence. This town was a small town, but not for long. As the years went by the city got bigger, the farmland got smaller, the cars got more advanced, along with the roads, and the population grew.

In 1875 there was not much city to look at, but there was a lot of farmland. No cars yet, they traveled by horses and horse carriages. The roads were made from dirt. The population was not very high.

In 1910 the city was still growing, there was still a lot of farmland. They just invented cars. The roads were made out of brick, and the population is growing but it's still low. In 1935 the city was still growing and getting bigger buildings, still a lot of farmland. They've got bus and airplanes for transportation too. The roads were made out of blacktop, and the population was bigger.

In 1955 the city is getting bigger, there's more houses being built in the farmland, not very many roads, more advanced cars though, and more people, and all of them are wearing black. In 1970 the city was huge. The farmland had a lot more houses on it. Cars are better than before, the roads are the same, but there's a big plaza next to it. Population is bigger, but more colorful clothes.

In 1980 the city is huge and really tall buildings, hardly any farmland. The cars are bigger and better. Hardly any roads. There is more people and the and they are all wearing black.

In 1990 the city is still the same, and there is still hardly any farmland. The cars haven't improved much, and the big plaza isn't there anymore. There are more roads. The population is till growing too.

In 2005 I think the city will keep growing, and I think they'll make a law where they should try and save more farmland. They will have invented non pollutive cars and we won't need roads because we'll have hover cars. The population is still growing.

So as you can see there has been a big change over 115 years. My prediction about 2005 is just my thought. What's your thought?
