Kindergarten
by TeonnaI read this story called "All I really need to know I learned in Kindergarden." And it wants to know if I agree that you learn everything while you are in Kindergarden. And I said "no" I disagree with the idea. Because he forgot a few things he should of remembered.
First of all, the things he said were true, but he forgot math. A kid has to learn math to go out in the real world, so they can keep up on house payments & tax. And so they really don't look stupid in the real WORLD! If they don't know math they'll get kicked out of their house and live on the streets, eating out of garabages streets, dying because they didn't pay the bills!
Next, I think kids should learn responsibility in order to have kids & pets. To have kids takes great responsibility. And if you are ignorant your kids will be taken away and you will miss them like crazy. And if you want to babysit how are you going to explain about the baby covered in mud & missing a tooth? You might be in big trouble by your parents, and maybe the lawyer of the baby's parents.
The last thing thing is work. You have to know how to get a job done so they can afford bills . They need to be successful in money or else, WHAM! They are on the streets eating rats & garbage & searching for money. And it hits you like an icicle, you should have gotten a better education so you could of gotten a job and be living in a house eating hot food instead of other peoples old food that they threw away.
These are all of my reasons for why I disagree on what he said for the story.
Thank you for reading my reasons on why I disagree.
Kindigarten
By Karissa
Fulghums theory, that you learn everything in kindigarten might of been great for him but not for me. I totaly disagree with him. We need to know more than just our ABC's and our 123's. There is more to life than that. Three reasons why I don't agree are we wouldn't have technology, we would have no way to learn about our past, and we wouldn't be able to take care of ourselves. So listen up and enjoy the ride.
Technology is a big thing for us today. If we didn't have technology we would have no access to the internet which helps us so much. We can get lots of information from it. Also if we didn't have technology we wouldn't have electricity, indoor plumbing, and cars or transportation. Math also helps us and in kindigarten you don't learn those things.
History is another one of the reasons I don't agree. If no one had knowledge we wouldn't be able to learn our history. If we didn't learn our history we wouldn't be able to learn from our mistakes. History is a big thing in life. It tells us about ourselves and our past. So we need to go on in life and learn more.
Taking care of ourselves is another big thing. If we don't know how then how are we supposed to live? In kindigarten they don't teach you to cook or clean. They don't teach you to shop or use money. And how are you supposed to get food if you have no knowledge?
Fulghums theroy may be good for him and other people but not for me! You need to more in life. You need to go through school and get a good education and mabey even go to college. And if you get a good enough education you could get a great job. So go get something out of life.
Kindergarten
by DustinI'm going to write my opinion on Fulghum's belief. In kindergarten you learn to clean up your own mess and not to take other peoples' things. Kindergarten also teaches us everything we need to know to live an ok life.
You learn to clean up your own mess. This is one of the only things we need to know because if everybody did this the world would be a lot cleaner. If no one did clean up their own mess the would look like a dump.
They also teach not to take other people's things. People wouldn't steal because they would only have to know a couple of rules like this one. There wouldn't be fights over someone taking something because no one would steal.
Kindergarten teaches everything you need to know to live an ok life. We would be living in caves and not have the luxury of the life we live now but we would still be able to live an ok life. There wouldn't be wars because guns wouldn't be invented and there would be nothing to fight about. You wouldn't be pressured by drugs because no one would be smart enough to invent them.
That is my opinion of Fulghum's belief. Don't take other peoples' things and clean up your own mess are two things your learn in kindergarten. I think that kindergarten teaches you every thing you need to know to live a good life.
All I Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten
by DebbieDo you agree with Fulghum's belief? Well, I do. In this essay I going to talk about why I agree with this belief, why you should agree, and I'm going to tell you about how I know that you should believe it too. So I hope you learn a lot about this topic.
I do agree because as you grow they add more to this rule. Plus you don't need to hit people for some weird reason. If you learn to this then you will have a good relationship with people. You will have a good time in life. As you get older yes, you do learn more things in life. These things are just getting added to the list. You will have a good time in life.
You defiantly need to agree with this. Because if you don't learn this you will have nothing.
You won't be able to make friends because you will be rude. So basically you will learn your manners.
You won't know how to respect anyone. You need to know all this stuff before you go to the next grade or even go out to the world.
I know that you need to know all this stuff. Let's face it you need to know you're going to die. You need to be safe when your crossing a street. You need to know not to take things that aren't yours and you need to respect people. If you don't respect people then you probably won't get into a college or even get a job. People really don't like it when you hit them. You should talk it out with one another. You should wash your hands, and flush. So I think most of all you need to know is in kindergarten.
Well, now do you agree with me? I hope you had fun reading this persuasive essay. I also hope you learned a lot from my three topics. These are why I agree, why you should agree too, and how I know you should agree with me. Thanks for reading my essay.
ALL I REALLY NEED TO KNOW I LEARNED IN KINDERGARTEN
by JoleneIn this essay im going to talk about how I agree and disagree and agree with Robert Fulghum at the same time. I'm going to talk about in some parts why I agree and why I don't agree with Robert Fulghum.
I don't agree with him because, when you are in kindergarten you learn little things like one plus one, but now you learn like nine times nine or seven times seven or you learn how to spell, all they taught you to do is color, say please when you want something and in our grade we learn to spell, how to read, and so much more. Kindergarten has lots of things to teach you but not everything you need to know.
In another way I think he is right we learned how to have manners, to brush our teeth at night and in the morning, we learned not to hit people for the fun of it, not to take things that don't belong to you, say im sorry when you hurt someone, kindergarten taught us some of the things we know today.
Kindergarten taught lots of things but not what we learned in the first, second, third and all the other grades we are in. I mostly don't agree because without any other grades where would we be in the world, we wouldn't be here in America today we would be some other place maybe not even born we could be in kindergarten or we wouldn't even be in kindergarten I don't know what we would do without our smartness today. We would be saying the wrong grammar or wrong alphabet or even counting wrong. Without the world today like it is we would have never heard about Galileo or about any kinds of famous people. If we only went to kindergarten we wouldn't know how to make food or grow it or even make houses, im glad we have more than one grade so we will grow up get a job get married and have good knowledge to do everything we do today.
Today if we could write another essay on a grade to go back to I would want to go back to, kindergarten, it was easy but sometimes hard and I know many others would pick kindergarten and write something about why they want to and how much fun they had for just half a day.

"All I Really Need to Know, I Learned in Kindergarten"
by SarahI disagree with the theory: "All I Really Need o Know, I Learned in Kindergarten." I think that kindergarten doesn't teach you the basic things about life. Kindergarten teaches you to make friends, and get along. It doesn't teach you to do math, or how to read, or any major things you need to know for getting jobs, and paying bills, for example.
Some things kindergarten teaches you are ARE what you need to know, but they aren't what you need to survive. In my point of view, kindergarten just teaches you the fun things about life, not things that will really help you when you get older.
I think you should need to know more about life than making friends, and eating cookies, or playing with blocks. The reason I disagree with this is because you NEED to knoiw more about life than just fun.
Kindergarten helps you to learn the A B C's, but you have to know more than that like: To read, write, do math, spell correctly, use proper grammar, ext., ext. I think that there is more to life than learning what you learned in kindergarten because it doesn't teach you everything you need to know.
Kindergarten doesn't teach you to read, write, spell correctly, or use proper grammar. Kindergarten teaches you to make friends, and get along. It teaches you the A B C's and how to sing, that is what I think.
"All I Really Need to Know, I Learned in Kindergarten."
What do YOU think?
Kindergarten
by ChanceI disagree with Fulghum because you might learn how to get along, but you don't learn math or anything important like, Drivers Ed, you never learn to work .
First you need to drive to go places and see things. But without Drivers Ed you can never get your permit or your license. And you don't learn that in kindergarten.
Second you need a job to buy a car. And jobs teach you new things. You will never go far in life with out a job. You don't learn to have a job in kindergarten.
Third you need math. There is no job that you don't need math for. Every day you use math and I mean every day. Like if you work in a grocery store you use math for the cash register. You don't learn any thing but a little plus and a little minus.
Now I told you the things you need to learn that you don't learn in kindergarten. How you're able to drive, how you can work and, last but definitely not least why you need math.
Kindergarten Theories
by DevonDid you know that some people think that all you need to know you learned in kindergarten ? I personally don't agree with that because you can learn so much more, what you learn in kindergarten can't take you far, and if we only knew that much, where would our society be today.
Kindergarten's teachings are very limited and we can learn so much more. If we only knew what kindergarten has to offer, we couldn't do any of the things we do today, for example shopping. We wouldn't know math, reading, writing, science, health, and many other important learning subjects.
What you learn in kindergarten can't take you very far in life. If you could only use what you've learned in kindergarten the best job you could hope for is to work at Mc Donald's, which you wouldn't know how to handle the money. Most of your life would revolve around naps and cookies if that was all you knew.
If all we knew was what we learned in kindergarten where would our society be today? If all of the people back in history only had kindergarten knowledge there wouldn't be a United States of America. If we only knew that much we wouldn't have anything of what we have today.
We should know more than what they teach us in kindergarten because you can learn so much more, what you learn in kindergarten can't take you far, and if we only knew that much, where would our society be today. Do you think that all we need to know, we learned in kindergarten?
Kindergarten Theories
by HeatherDo you agree with Fulghm's belief? I don't. And I'll tell you why. First I'll tell you what I'm going to say, Don't hit, clean up you mess, and play fair. He said That you learn this in kindergarten, but you don't.
Have you heard the saying "Don't hit or say your sorry? I have, from my mom. Have you? So technically you don't learn this at kindergarten.
Now, I remember when my sister or mom would say, "Clean up your mess!" Don't you? We also learned that from family.
Now the third topic, PLAY FAIR. I hear that a lot. I hear it from my, mom, dad, aunt, uncle, and etc. I could just go on with that topic. Technically we learned that from our family and friends.
I rest my case, I do NOT agree with Fulghum. As I said in each paragraph we learned Don't hit, clean up your mess, and PLAY FAIR.
"All you need to know you learned in kindergarten"
by Katie"All you need to know you learned in kindergarten?" Do you think that’s true, well I don’t so in my essay I am writing I will tell you a few of the reasons why I don’t agree.
Well really all you learned in kindergarten is mainly your manners and how to treat people. Like to play fair, share your toys, don’t take things that aren’t yours, don’t hit, and pick up your own mess, and yeah you do need to know that stuff but you do need to learn a lot more stuff in life.
One thing you need to learn in life is reading because almost everything involves reading, and in kindergarten you didn’t really learn how to read hard words and as you get older the words you read will get harder.
Another thing that you need to learn in life is English. In kindergarten you didn’t do much writing, and when you get older writing and how you talk is really important.
In my essay on "All you need to know we learned in kindergarten,"-- I have told you why I don’t agree with that saying. I told you about what most of us mainly learned and that was our manners, we also did some reading but we didn’t do that much like we do now, and then I told you about how we all need to learn how to speak and write stories and essays like I am doing right now.
If everybody in the world just went to kindergarten what do you think the world would be like today???????
What I Learned In Kindergarten
by LibbyNo- I don't agree with Fulghum's idea because if I did then where would we be today? How much would we know? How would we live our lives? Well, I'll tell you the answers to those questions right now.
If everything we need to know we learned in kindergarten, we wouldn't be very far in life because we wouldn't know how to write anything except our name and maybe cat or dog. Also we wouldn't know how to do anything we know how to do now.
How much would we know? We would hardly know anything! We would know how to count to 100, sing the ABC's, and know how to go to the restroom, to share, and to say sorry. That's pretty much all you learn in kindergarten. You wouldn't know very much.
How would you live you're life? You would live like a sick, poor, homeless, person that doesn't have a place to live. You'd be sick because you wouldn't know how much medicine to take. Poor- You wouldn't know how to do you're job, so you wouldn't get paid.
Where would you be today? How much would you know? How would you live you're life? Nowhere-Nothing-Horribly.
Kindergarten
by KaraIn All I really need to Know I Learned in Kindrgarten it says about that in life all you really need to know you learned in kindergarten. I am going to tell you if I agree with Fulghum's belief. Now I will tell you about that.
Robert Fulghum's belief is that all you really need to know is what you learned is what you learned in kindergarten. I both disagree and agree with his belief. That is how I feel about his belief.
I agree with his belief because in kindergarten you learn most of the basics. Another reason I agree is you have to know the basics because you need to know how to act. That is the reason I agree with Robert Fulghum.
I also disagree with Fulghum's belief because if we only knew the basics from kindergarten we wouldn't have what we have today. I also think that because we would just stay at the same place, like not moving up in grade or anything. That is also why I disagree.
I have just told you why I agree and disagree with Fulghum's belief. I hope you learned and enjoyed reading about it.
Kindergarten
by NickI'm going to tell you why I think Fulghum was wrong. I don't think you can learn all you need to know in kindergarden.
In math I don't think you can be able to just go out and buy stuff and not know how much it is. You need to know higher math to live without getting ripped off.
Heath you need heath to know what's wrong if you get sick. And health can help you in life problems. If you have a kid and he or her gets sick you will know what to do.
And English so you know how to write. English helps with talking and writing.
There I told you about if I think or don't think you can learn evrey thing in kindergarden. I don't think you can. I hope that helps you.
