Mashed Potatoes Everywhere
Rrrrrrrring. Ah, Thanksgiving morning. Time to get up and get ready to cook some yummy food.
First what are we going to cook? I hope we make my favorite mashed potatoes. Of course we will make a turkey. Maybe some deviled eggs. I almost forgot salad, but what kind of salad? How about potato salad? That sounds good. Last but not least stuffing. Well, now that I know what to cook it's time to get cooking.
I should probably cook the turkey first cause it takes so long to cook. Here's the gross part of cooking a turkey. I have to take the insides out. "Yuh." Finally that's done. Now I have to find a pan. Got that finished. Now I got to preheat the oven and when the light goes off I can put the turkey in . . . . . . . . ding, the light's off. Here goes the turkey.
I'm going to peel the potatoes and let them sit in water until the turkey's almost done and then I will boil them. While I'm waiting for the turkey to get done I will start to make the deviled eggs. To start them I need to fill the pan up with water and let the eggs boil.
Well, I could probably start to boil the potatoes so they will get done. I got everything started. Now I have to get everything done.
Two more hours until the turkey's done. I need to run to the store and get some rolls. I hope they have the kind I like. They don't have the kind I like, but these will work.
I need to mash the potatoes. They are getting really soft. I got the mixer and put the butter and milk. Now I need to mix the potatoes. OK I'm mixing the potatoes and the mixer slips out of my hand and I try to catch it cause if is flinging potatoes everywhere and I knock the bowl over. I had potoates everywhere. What a big mess! Now I have to clean it up and I don't want to.
I'm just going to call everyone and tell them dinner is canceled. I feel so bad. What a waste of food. You know what? I'm going to go out to dinner and get some food in my tummy and come home and go to bed.
Rrrrrrrrr . . . . . ah, time to get up again. Now is the time I get to clean up mashed potatoes. How fun.
