by DustinI'm going to tell you why atomic war is a bad thing.
When America launched an atomic bomb on Hiroshima it knocked the little girl unconscious and killed a lot of people. Her dad got trapped in a fire and his wife had to save him. Everybody started to flee to safety.
She saw kids running with their clothes burnt off, eyelids, and lips swollen. It affected everything. A bird, babies, and cats.
The bomb had destroyed everything; houses, grass, and trees. A lot of people died from radiation. So much people died that the Japanese make lanterns, write names on them, and send them down the rivers to honor the dead.
I hope you now know why atomic war is a bad thing if you already haven't.
Atomic Bombs in World War II
by GeorgeThe "fat man" and "little boy" were code names for bombs.
On August 6, 1945, all the people of Hiroshima were eating breakfast. Just as people were ready for work or school "little boy" hit. It destroyed five square miles and killed between 70,000 and 100,000 people.
Japan was devastated by the attack. So many people died. The people that got away died from radiation sickness. The only problem is it takes 20,000 years for radiation to go away.
Japan did not give up they kept fighting. Three days later after Hitler committed suicide. The U. S. dropped "fat man" on Nagasaki.
World War II ended but war is never good. Especially if it is atomic war. Let's hope it never happens again.
Hiroshima No Pika
by TeonnaIf you were Mii what would you do if you saw people killing themselves and people falling and not getting up or people who cough up blood? Or seeing an Atomic bomb drop out of the sky? What about your dad? People who survive say, "We're so lucky we survived," and know how dangerous a bomb is. People who got radiation died a painful death because they coughed up blood, got purple spots and died. But don't look at the light. It'll make you stay the same size you are.
Atomic Wars
by JessieAtomic wars are bad in many ways. One is they let a whole bunch of radiation into the atmosphere.
They're also bad because the radiation does not go away for thousands of years.
During an atomic war you could pollute the rivers, catch many trees and bushes on fire, and kill many animals.
The war could also knock down buildings, houses, and markets.
It can also change it from sun to rain and from light to dark.
All the Bad Stuff in War
by ConradIn war people go in battle and die. Another thing is when we have war people's houses get blown up or collapse.
When war comes, no one likes it. When there is war there are usually cities that get blown up and turn into wasteland.
When there is war people are sad and have to find shelter and food because there houses got bombed.
When an atomic bomb hits there is a big explosion. When it explodes radiation spreads and you die or get sick and die later.
I've told you about what happens when War comes and all the bad stuff. I hope you learned something.
Hiroshima No Pika
by KaraIn the story Hiroshima No Pika the author is trying to tell us that the atomic war is a terrible thing. I will tell you how she tried to convince us.
In the story Mii is the main character. Mii's father caught on fire when the atomic bomb hit. A few days later he died. Also the atomic bomb is bad because after that day Mii never grew again. The atomic bomb is a terrible thing because it would be hard to watch all the dead people float down the river. After the atomic bomb Mii would complain that her head hurt so her mother would part her hair and pick out glass. That is how the author convinced us that the atomic bomb is a terrible thing.
