What we've been doing in class is decorating little trees for the Senior Center. We've also been having volleyball tournaments during our lunch recess. Go Huffman!

This year in volleyball we won almost every game. We lost one to Andrews boys. We're going to the championship game and we hope we win it because it would make us the best team. We also play because it's fun.

Last month we read novels and took tests and wrote essays. Right now we are doing an Egypt project. In PE we are doing volleyball. It is fun. We've been doing lots of fun things. Sixth grade has been the best year so far. I hope you are looking forward to it.

In Mrs. Huffman's class what we have been doing. All this week we have been decorating trees to take to the old people and in PE we have been playing volleyball. We started out in a bad but now we're in first tomorrow is the big game.

This year we decorated Christmas trees for the seniors and we're going to the volleyball championship for Petersen, and we made pictures about the story The Kracken. We made pictures with Mr. Vogel and drew color sheets about Treasure Island.

Yesterday (Dec. 12) a yo-yo guy came to our school. He did all kinds of cool tricks like around the world and loop to loop and rock the baby. It was a great experience.

This year has been fun since 6th graders get to do more things in class and out. In class, we've done some projects for the people at the care center. We have made cards, and decorated Christmas trees. And out of class we have been able to spend our lunch recesses playing volleyball in the gym. I wonder if we can do all those fun things in middle school.

One thing that our class has done this year was volleyball tournaments. Every classroom has a girls team and a boys team. Each team competes to see who is the best. Our girls team came in sixth, and our boys team is currently in 2nd.

In Mrs. Huffman's classroom we have been working hard on numerous things. One of them is decorating small Christmas trees for the elderly at the care center. We have made glittering ornaments, making strands of noodles, and strands of beads.

We've been doing a lot of things like decorating our Christmas trees, we are in a new science class. We are going to the championship game in volleyball. We just watched a movie in the book, Venus.

This couple of weeks we got our trees and they are going to the senior center. We made ornaments. The ornaments had snowman, bells, and flags. Then we beaded beads onto a piece of string. Then we glued paper chains together. Soon Mrs. Huffman is going to take them over and the are going to be so happy.
