Outdoor School
It came the day to go on are big hike. We woke up and got drest then we went to the bathroom to go to the bathroom, brush are teeth and get ready. Then we went back to the cabin and rolled are sleeping bags up and pack are bags and left to the drop off area.
The drop of area is a place where we put are bags for the buses. When we were done puting the luggage away we played a game named silent ball and won! Then we went to the field.
When we got to the field we walk and got in are groups. I had Ravev as my leader. Then we got ready for the hike, water, jacket and anything else.
On are way to the trail we found another group and we had to be really quiet so we didn't disturb them.
Then we got to the trail and it looked fun. It was forresty and then we came to a clear area where he told us about drop off's and a rock that came from a glacier. Then we started walking again.
On the trail we found ciotte scate and he said stuff about it, Then as we walked on he told us about blackberries bushes and that it takes up all the root space and blocks out other plants from growing.
Then when we got to a tree we looked at the little holes in it and we saw that there was sap in it and he told us that woodpeckers eat the bugs on the sap.
Then we ran into a creek and he told us the forrest wouldn't grow if the creek wasn't there. Then we went to a place where there were trees but no brush and we played. In the game you hide but you have to see the seeker at all times.
When we were done playing we went to the top of the big hill type thing. Up there we looked around then we made any kind of animals. I made a flying bear which protected Camp Howard. Then we went back down we took a different trail and when we got back we got with are groups went to the bus and we were waiting to leave. Then when everybody was on we left.
