Field Science Experience

We were walking on a narrow trail it was twisting and turning to the creek. When we got there myself and Cameron G. picked up a huge rock and rolled it over. When we looked under it there was a 3 1/2 inch crawdad looking right at us!

I went to pick it up and it pinched my finger but it didn't hurt. The crawdad was red and it's tail was flapping like a flag in the wind.

Then when we had to put him in the bucket he wiggled out of my grip and fell on the soft, wet, gukky mud. I picked him up and put him in the bucket.

When we put the crawdad back myself and Cameron G. took the crawdad down away from the spot we found him so no one would find him.

Then when we got back to our cabin we had to go to lunch in the dining hall. There is a flag pole in front of the dining hall every morning we raise it and every evening.

All the cabins were named after animals like, Antelope, Kestrel, Coho, Bear, and so on. Each cabin had leaders like Fudge, Ibbi, Luak, Windchyme, Pele and so on.

A while before we left we got all the leaders names signed on our "wood cookies." I got Fudge's name twice.
