Math:

Skills: Skills classes with 6th grade teachers.
Reading: Continue independent BOOKADVENTURE reading. Students and parents: over the summer you can check out Petersen's new Library page for great reading ideas. E-mail your book reviews to Mrs. Lentz for publication to the web page! And, continue collecting points on the BookAdventure.org site. Have fun reading and be ready for 7th grade!
Language Arts: Revise Outdoor School essays if necessary and go over work samples to be sent to middle school.
Spelling:No more spelling!
Social Studies: Continue Legal Unit. Respond to individual case studies, recognizing the differences between civil and criminal law, and the importance of Constitutional issues. Memorize the Preamble to the U. S. Constitution: We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Science: Complete all Outdoor School Activities in field activity book.

Students and parents: if you have access to the internet, you can begin collecting points on the BookAdventure.org site at home. Have fun reading!
Language Arts: Write about Outdoor School and type for upload to our web page. Complete all writing assessments.
